Roberts

Videographer and illustrator. Music videos, live performance, album art and character design.

Len Roberts is a British multidisciplinary visual artist specialising in videography and illustration. With over two years of freelance experience in video production and more than five years developing his illustration practice, he works across a range of visual disciplines, bringing ideas to life through both moving and still imagery.

In videography, his work focuses mainly on shooting and editing music videos, promotional content and live performances, while staying open to a wide range of video projects and creative collaborations. His illustration practice explores album artwork, character design and imaginative world-building, with an ongoing interest in developing his own visual language.

Raised by a professional artist mother and a professional musician father, Len has always had creativity at the centre of his life. He has long been driven to pursue his passions in the creative field and to push the boundaries of what we can achieve through one of our greatest assets: creative expression and individual interpretation. Especially in an age when human-made work is increasingly treated as a commodity, he believes in the importance of originality, individuality and a personal connection to the creative process.

His illustration influences come from a wide range of artistic disciplines and creative minds, including Takeshi Waki’s art direction on Samurai Champloo, Kazuo Oga’s atmospheric paintings for Studio Ghibli, Andy Ristaino’s imaginative character work on Adventure Time, and the distinctive illustrations of French artist Jean Giraud, better known as Moebius.

Len offers freelance videography, video production, illustration and creative visual services. He is always open to new projects, commissions and collaborations, and enjoys exploring new ideas and creative challenges across different mediums.
